Are you ready for some Cosmic Archeology? I’ve been digging though my sketchbooks and digital archives for January 2021. I seem to be getting back into my groove now that I got a refill for my Pentel Pocket Brush. After trying different things I just seem to really like the feel of it and the quality of the ink.
This style of my art is what I call Cosmic Archeology. I go on Inner Space adventures deep in the mind and find new excavation sites. Once the site is discovered (aka I draw the original ink design), I further investigate. I explore the site and dig deeper to uncover kaleidoscopic artifacts to adventure through. The work feeds and spirals in on itself like never ending fractal.
My process typically starts with the Pentel Pocket Brush and some nice paper. I create designs, sometimes very sparse and minimalist, sometimes very dense and complex. After I draw a few designs I run them through the Kaleidoscope machine to find new patterns.
I have used this process to create many designs used for T-shirts, stickers, buttons, bags and many other fun products. Right now the Crystaleyezed Store has shirts and other items printed for me by Printful. I print my own shirts sometimes and actually have some new shirts to print. I’ll be putting them online once I get the new shirts printed and inventory my current stock.
Cosmic Archeology
This is one of my favorite but very simple designs from January.
Now after running it through the Kaleidoscope Machine here are some very interesting artifacts to ponder.

Enjoy your Sunday and have a fun adventure with Zentropia and my Cosmic Archeology discoveries.
