Mark Bray will be at the Pacific Coast Fog Fest this year painting surfboards with Luis Marroquin. They will be set up at the Create! Art Collective tent collaborating on 2 surfboards to be completed by the end of the festival. This is an event hosted by the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce and the surfboards will be auctioned off to charity.
Thanks toKaren Rosenstein of the Pacifica Art Connection for getting me in touch with Carol Camacho at the Chamber of Commerce to make this happen. It should be a fun 2 day event.
We will have prints, shirts, stickers, magnets and other fun stuff available to purchase at our sale tables.
Here are a couple of paintings Luis and Mark have collaborated on in preparation for painting surfboards.
Pacific Coast Fog Fest
September 26-27, 2015
http://pacificcoastfogfest.com/
The Pacific Coast Fog Fest each year promotes the City of Pacifica, attracts visitors, celebrates our community and raises funds for local community groups as well as the “Gift for Pacifica Fund.” We strive to lessen our environmental footprint by moving towards zero waste.
The Fog Fest was created in 1986 to promote Pacifica and to celebrate our marvelous coast. The last full weekend of September was chosen because historically the weather is unbeatable. The Fog Fest kicks off Saturday morning at 10 am with the Discover Pacifica Parade and Marching Band Competition. Then stay and enjoy our Arts and Crafts booths, Food and Beverage booths, Musical Entertainment, Family Fun Fest and a variety of other activities.
